The White Lotus Season 3 finale dealt out plenty of death, but there was one character who got very lucky to escape it: Lochlan (Sam Nivola), who almost died from poison fruit seeds after he failed to clean out the blender that Timothy had nearly used to murder his family the night before.
Appearing on The Tonight Show in the clip above, Jimmy Fallon asks Nivola the question that everyone is asking: Why does Lochlan cheerfully make himself a protein shake without at least rinsing out the dregs first?
"So it's been about 12 hours and I've gotten this question probably 1,000 times already," says Nivola. "Here's my answer: I was expecting that Saxon had made a protein shake in it. I thought it was just leftover protein, so I thought you know what, a little extra protein never hurt anybody."
OK, that makes more sense.
